In this Letter, based on different amplifier offset voltages and loop power-up or -down settling feature, a low-voltage low-power low-complexity hybrid circuit is proposed to accomplish BGR and POR together. The reported low-power low-complexity PORs can be broadly classified into delay-based one and voltage reference-based one . The existing BGRs based on switched-capacitor array, current-mode or reverse voltage principle, have sub-1-V power supply. Digital memory systems need a power-on-reset (POR) signal with brown-out reset (BOR) function to ensure a known or initial-state behaviour during the supply voltage ramp-up and ramp-down.
